HOW IT WORKS
STEP ONE:
Reach out to Lumos by filling out the contact form with your information. Once we know you are interested in our services, we will reach out within 24-48 hours to schedule a 30 minute discovery phone call.
STEP TWO:
We start with a 30 minute discovery phone call. In this discovery session, Lumos will ask you for an introduction to you, your company, and your main reasons for contacting us.
STEP THREE:
After the 30 minute discovery, Lumos will send you our new client checklist where you will detail your company information and client needs.
STEP FOUR:
Using the new client checklist and 30 minute discovery call as a guide, Lumos will create a customized services package and engagement letter based on your unique needs.
STEP FIVE:
After we receive a signed engagement letter, our work begins. The first 90 days are the most critical in establishing a successful relationship with your company. As your new trusted financial advocate, Lumos will proceed immediately based on our customized services package and dive into your existing accounting system to get to know your business. It is also critical to audit and analyze past financial data to ensure accuracy and reliability. In the beginning, you can expect to hear from Lumos multiple times a week as we learn your company finances and organize the accounting system.
STEP SIX:
Depending on the service package requested, you can expect to hear from Lumos on a weekly, bi-weekly, monthly, or quarterly basis. During our financial review meetings, Lumos will present the appropriate financial reports, such as P&L, balance sheet, budgets, forecasts, and profitability analyses. Lumos will also highlight opportunities for growth, cost savings, and process improvements.
